Satalia
Enabling global AI efficiency experts to move from a service-based offering to a SaaS-based offering.
The challenge
Satalia use machine learning and optimisation to help solve complex efficiency problems for their clients, such as demand forecasting, route optimisation, and price optimisation.
Having worked with the likes of Tesco, PWC, and DS Smith, Satalia were looking to pivot from a predominantly service-based model, to a product-based approach, offering a range of core SaaS products.
As part of this shift, the team also wanted to consolidate their tech stacks to promote reuse, simplify their hiring process, and ensure engineers could switch seamlessly between products and teams.
How we helped
Hyperact were brought into to help Satalia migrate the their MVP to the desired tech stack, and support with the ongoing development of new features.
Along the way, our engineers also helped tighten-up a number of security issues with the backend APIs, improve the usability of the user interface, enhance the developer experience during releases, and put in place a proper release and rollback capability.
Outcomes
At the end of the engagement, the product was migrated over to the desired tech stack enabling Satalia to better resource the team internally. New features had been added to the product, an appropriate transfer of knowledge was done, and additional recommendations were made by Hyperact on how to make further improvements.
