Unlocking the growth of regtech platform RiskSmart through a 10-week relaunch and dedicated product team.
The challenge
RiskSmart launched in 2022, with the mission to help businesses succeed through their simple, smart, and state-of-the-art risk and compliance management platform.
Having developed an MVP to test market fit, they were now beginning to onboard their first customers and needed a platform that could scale to meet their needs.
Hyperact were brought in to rapidly redesign, develop, and launch a ‘version 2’ of the platform as quickly as possible, to enable RiskSmart to migrate their early customers off their MVP, and onboard new customers, faster.
How we helped
Working closely with RiskSmart’s CTO, Hyperact deployed a highly skilled, lean team of a Product Manager/Designer and three Full-Stack Engineers.
We quickly worked to understand the scope and user needs of the platform, before creating a value–based roadmap to keep everyone aligned and maximise the number of new customers we could onboard.
Working in one-week sprints, we collaboratively designed, tested, built, and shipped new features utilising a stack of AWS, Postgres, Hasura, TypeScript, React, and AWS’s CloudScape design system.
Our partnership with RiskSmart remains ongoing, as we continue to support them with designing and delivering features and improvements to increase their market share, delight their customers, and enable their transition to an in-house team.
